FYI the NHL player "who's hot and who's not" tool results are in.

The Hot/Not old version vs. the Hot/Not new version, old version actually won in page views by a 5:2 ratio.

This is astonishing!

Old Version (hot/not) - it's a It's a silly method, but readers like it because they can customize the number of games it looks at and then sort accordingly. But what these readers don't understand is that you can just do this in the Report Generator. Select your games going back, run the report for whatever stat you like (including points)

New Version (hot/not) - We worked hard on developing a formula that will pull the hottest players of the last XX games, automatically filtering in only the hot streak itself, and going back as far as 15 games. So if a player has been hot for 8 games (15 points) and 0 points in 7 games prior to that, he will be listed at 15 points in 8 games. Under the old system he would show up as 15 points in 15 games. Which one helps you more? For hockey writers, this is indispensable. Makes it far easier to find the hot/cold players to mention in your work, and you can sort by team to make it even easier.
