The only two I am familiar with is Saracino and Denham.

I guess it depends on how deep your pool is but unless you have a massive minors system, I dont see any reason to be chasing any of them until they actually get signed and even then, they are all a big reach at best.

In my insanely deep dynasty league I often end up drafting NCAA guys late and I have no idea who these guys are.

Bump to add a couple of guys below the line.

BTW, it's a 20 team dynasty with a 27 man farm, so yeah, pretty deep, lol.

Thanks to those who have responded as well.

I have only heard about Grenier and my knowledge about him is limited. You must be in one hell of a deep league. I can only assume that the bigger names in college hockey are gone; guys like Vesey, Lyon, Tanev and Caggiula. If not, I would be looking into those guys.

Is this the 16-team league in your sig? If yes then there must be better options out there. I mean, I once owned Grenier in a 24-team dynasty and gave him as a throw-in to complete a deal because the guy wanted a farm-eligible RW. He's worth owning in that league but he's a low-end prospect.

Eric, not for the team in the sig. This salary cap league has far more freedom adding players to the farm but it does have a 23 man roster and 27 man farm limit. We can carry up to 6 vets (gp > 200) on the farm and these become your IR replacements as there is next to zero on the wire. As well, only players 22 years old or 9 gp can be added to the farm. 21 and under are considered draft eligible by league standards. All teams are basically full so the league is 1,000 players deep. Some very astute players in the league as well so you must stay on top of everything or you get left out in the cold. With myself out of the playoffs now, I'm just taking a a look at possible NCAA guys that might sign over the next few weeks.

I'll also add that I added Ethan Prow and Zac Lynch yesterday after seeing the article on the Hobey Baker finalists. These two of ten were the only ones either a) not owned in our league already or b) not draft eligible. This got me thinking about other NCAA graduates, hence, the list above.

We're in very similar dynasty leagues. Maybe give Grenier a look as he might give you something more immediately and you never know with big forwards. Aside from that you'll probably have to go based on your own research as those guys are off the radar for most people. There might be something there though especially if a player with talent signs with a team that needs help. However my thinking is you'll find better younger options at the draft table and end up replacing these NCAA guys for the most part.

Second this comment. I've heard of Veccione but haven't drafted him in any of my leagues.

Thanks guys. The draft is where we do obtain our better players for certain. I'm just running this in conjunction with my other post in the "drafted prospects" thread to see if there's anything here that can replace anyone I have listed there.
