Announcers thinking Malkin was favoring his shoulder after a hit. Probably explains the 8:59 of TOI & I don't believe I've seen him on the ice in the 3rd.

If he's out, this will mark the third consecutive year that Malkin is hurt for fantasy playoffs.

It's become an annual tradition that in March, Malkin will be injured. I avoid this guy like the plague in all my leagues now.

Mark Madden is tweeting that sources are telling him that Malkin could be out for a Month....so basically the rest of the season. All speculation at this point but I need him if I want to win in one of my frozen pools....every year its always INJURIES INJURIES INJURIES!!!!

3 years of fantasy playoffs is rough....those are the 3 years I've had him, frustrating and likely going to look to move him early next year I think.

I got him in a 1 year frozen MONEY league in the 1st round. I'm currently 1st place (1 pt ahead of 2nd) ... yeah good luck to me holding the lead now....never again am I making the mistake on getting Malkin. BLEEPIDY BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!

It's kind of like going out with a girl you KNOW is wild if you know what I mean...then when things go south you remember that you KNEW what you were getting yourself into. When I drafted Malkin I knew he was boom or bust pick....oh well he did get me over 50 pts at least.

He goes out just in time for the playoffs.. This was the first and last time I draft Malkin in the top 2 rounds.
