I have an offer of a 2nd + 3rd redraft picks for Eric Staal + 4th redraft pick. Would you make the move? Stat cats are G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, Shots, FOW, Shoot %

It is a keep 15 in a 12 team league, and I can replace him with either Brayden Schenn, Phaneuf, or Hellebuyck in my 15 keepers. I am an annual contender in win now mode.

    Yahoo 1 year H2H

    G - A - (+/-) - PIM - PPP - SOG - FW - HITS - BLK

    Roster:

    Patrice Bergeron - C
    Nicklas Backstrom - C
    Evgeny Kuznetsov - C/LW
    Matt Duchene - C/LW
    Mike Cammalleri - C/LW (IR)
    Pavel Datsyuk - C/LW
    Ryan O'Reilly - C/LW/RW (IR)
    Patrick Kane - C/RW
    Jordan Eberle - RW
    Evander Kane - LW
    Artemi Panarin - LW

    John Klingberg - D
    Alex Goligoski - D
    Zdeno Chara - D
    TJ Brodie - D
+ 1 open roster spot for streamers

    W - GAA - SV% - SO

    Petr Mrazek - G
    Antti Niemi - G
    Steve Mason - G

Preparing for the playoffs as I currently sit 3rd of 10 and am positive I'll qualify. Colorado have already played 63 games so I was thinking of trading Duchene for a player on a team with 58 or 59 games played. An owner in my league has said at the beginning of the season that he really likes Duchene but we have tried multiple times through out the season and couldn't agree on a deal. So I decided to look through his roster one last time and have narrowed it down to these players:

Sean Monahan - Calgary has 11 games in the 3 week fantasy playoffs. He would contribute to FW that I am missing out on with O'Rielly on IR.
TJ Oshie - Washington has played 59 games and well, it's the Caps. Oshie would also give me hits.
Jaden Schwartz - He would be the add on. So Monahan + Schwartz for Duchene or Oshie + Schwartz for Duchene.

The problem of course is it being a 2 for 1 deal which I hate being on the 2 player end of the deal. Who would you drop, or would you try and expand the deal and make it a bigger trade? He also has Filip Forsberg which I am interested in. What kind of package would you try and put together?

Another couple notes here. I could use some RW help, plenty of LW on my team.

I'm 5th for the league in my sig. 10pts back from 3rd (which is in the money), but there's almost no chance of catching 2nd or 1st.

Would you trade away some kids (Larkin, Ehlers, Hellebuyck, Ghost, etc.) to try and make a run at 3rd? Or go for it all next year and maybe make some deals in the offseason? 3rd would basically recoup league fees.

    Thanks =)

For the team in my sig.
I have an offer of Stamkos and Kuznetsov for my Benn.
    Would you accept this?
That would push either Carlson or a Sedin out of my top 6 (keepers).
    Thanks!

I could see bailing on Tatar depending on the waiver options available. A trade would be the best course of action since it's a keeper. Bobby Ryan should be productive for you down the stretch.

Taking a chance on the youth of Forsberg and TJ. I know what Toews is and those two have scored at his level but maybe they have another gear.

I've bolded the guys I was planning to keep (Dobber gave me advice a few weeks ago when I decided to rebuild). Since then I managed to trade Getzlaf and Parise for Allen and Dubnyk and picked up Hellebuyck and Burakovsky who were on the wire. Do you agree with my current keeper selection.

In addition, I have the opportunity to get Tyler Johnson for a mid round pick. Is he a large enough upgrade on one of my keepers to make that trade?

    My current team is

Probably not. I'd probably keep TJ over Ehlers if all things were equal but giving up a pick swings me against it. Plus, we may just see Ehlers go bananas this last month and a half.

Not a chance. Don't downgrade in a limited keeper.

He could score up to 20 points from here on out though I'd look for closer to 15 and play it that way. With how cold Boedker has been Staal would be an upgrade for your playoff run but you should wait to see if Boedker is moved before pulling the trigger. But a third would fall outside the top 150 so I don't think that's unreasonable for you to pay for an upgrade.
