First place guy in my league has mcdavid up on the block, and now gibson went down to injury, is my offer of Tavares and Lundqvist too much for mcdavid and gibson?

If I owned Tavares and Lundy I would do the trade for tavares barring i couldnt win this year. McDavid is going to have an unreal career barring he stays healthy.

I would make this move to acquire McDavid.
Being a keep 3 +1 D, you start off with McDavid, Seguin. Pretty sweet.
You mentioned acquiring picks. Use them plus your draft to acquire a top goalie and dman.
You down grade from Lundy in the short term but upgrade McDavid from Tavares.

I think the upside of gibson is equal to the loss of Lundy for this year and next, I'd debate keeping him for the future as well
