The sbnation player pages used to list a full injury list for a players career. Not sure if they do now, I just checked and they don't on my iphone at least. Not sure about a computer, check it out.

They at least have the missed games and some kind of a reason. TSN is usually a little bit more detailed, but for Eric they only play the lower and upper body injury game.

Two years ago, I flipped E. Staal and a 2nd round pick (league in sig, sig not up to date) for Ryan Johansen and Tomas Vanek. I ended up flipping Vanek with Ryan McDonagh for Pekka Rinne and a 2nd round pick. I also flipped Johansen in a package for Ovechkin. I'm quite happy he's no longer on my team.

Can he even be a C3 on a team? Maybe to shelter a rookie he can get some C2 ice time, but I wouldn’t bank on him even being more than a C3 + specialist.

I've been one of Staal's staunchest supporters over the years. Even drafted him last year and this year. I finally cut ties in Nov. and never looked back.

I haven't watched many of his games admittedly, but the few that I saw this year, he was invisible. Literally. He's lost his explosiveness... I'm not sure he's even considered the 1C in Carolina anymore.

My advice - he's going down like the Titanic. I think he's done... there will be no resurgence.

That's some wicked ''red paper clip'' stuff! Technically, E.Staal and McDonaugh end up getting you Ovechkin and Rinne!
