I'd have to think the aging veteran Doan will slow down at some point, but ride the hot hand at least for the time being.
Hey all,
So, I didn't really pay attention to my league this week, and out of no where (I thank eberle cause he woke up) my team is within 50pts...still 4 teams to jump but totally acheivalbe with the right move.
I am shoping my injured price, so there is no real negative effect this year, but having a look at my FA market...Doan and Koivu are available...
Both roughly the same cost.
Who is better to go with for remainder of the year?
I am trying to find the diamond in the rough young guy that no one signed but that is proving to be hard.
Thanks

Hmm, with your categories only being G, A, +/-, this is a tough choice. With a new coach in Minny, Koivu "might" see a little resurgence in the points department (especially PPP?). Doan has 10 points in his last 10 games, while Koivu has 4 points over his last 10 games. I also agree that Doan may slow down during the twilight of the season. You can't go wrong with either guy, but I'd lean towards Doan if I had to decide today. If Koivu starts to pop with the new coach, then jump on him quickly.
