i own elias and reinhart right now

My defense is Karlsson, Gostisbehere, McDonagh, Deangelo, Montour. To me it seems hard to get good defense...should I take this deal? I'm already out of the running

Normally I would say "for sure" without hesitation, but it seems like your league is won and lost with forward depth.

I'm pretty confident in Lindholm and Reinhart. I consider them fairly safe players to reach 60 but I'm not sure they can do much better than that. Maybe 60-65? The wait will be years too..

I'm leaning towards don't do it since you're out of the running. Tough call though.

Tough call. If you don't mind waiting a bit, both Reinhart and Lindholm should become 60 point players within 2 years. Possible ceiling of 70 for either.

I ended up accepting the trade. My defense will be stacked for sure, and to me it seems harder to find good defense in this league while forwards are a dime a dozen. Karlsson, Ghost, Shattenkirk, McDonagh, Deangelo, Montour .....
