Marchand/Palmieri + for Doan/Stempniak + REP

I'm in 3rd and on my way to the top after a slow start to the season. Team is in sig.

Basically wondering if you think Doan/Stempniak would be worth it to give up Marchand and drop Palmieri for the following trade:

Marchand and my 6th

for

Doan, Stempniak and his 4th

We keep 10 so the pick isn't amazing.....and I do have 3 Bruins....but I don't think this will enough to pry Marchand away.

I don't like that trade for you. The way Marchand is playing I would want more than a broken down 39 year old and a never was 33 year old. you do get an upgrade in picks but that isn't enough.

Nope. Doan is almost ready for a rocking chair. Stempniak is a journeyman who is having a great season for a team that has a knack for prying one great season out of cheap journeyman additions.

In a multi-cat format Marchand has been excellent, this is his breakout season and you want to be on that ride for as long as it lasts, or until you get a great offer.

I agree. Marchand's performance thus far and no signs of slowdown should def garner more value.
