I like Rieder better, his shot totals have been very high not just this year, but last year as a rookie as well, and gets both PP and SH time. Not to mention he's near the top for the team in TOI. Duclair has the much better SH% but I don't see that being sustainable. For me it's close, I had both on my team at the start of the year and traded Duclair. But in this case, when in doubt, I'll take the guy who plays special teams and gets more ice-time, which is Rieder in this case.

Duclair for me. He's about 3 years younger, has not had any AHL experience (Rieder has a full year), is playing in his first full NHL season (Rieder is on his 2nd) and is still putting up similar numbers with less special team time.

Duclair was a beast in juniors and is looking like he will pan out into a great offensive NHLer. Rieder is more of a surprise. It doesn't take anything away from his talent, but I feel AD's ceiling is higher, hence why I'm inclined to pick him.

Go with Duclair over Rieder in any long-thinking scenario. More upside + better trade value.

I'm very pleased as a Rieder owner but I also believe Duclair's ceiling is considerably higher.

Duclair by upside but man I have a feeling Rieder is gonna fly under the radar as a very underrated and useful hockey player until Zona starts making the playoffs.

I wont be surprised if most here say Duclair, and I won't be surprised if Rieder turns out to be the better player for your league.
