Should I move a Stud D

I keep getting asked about my willingness to move any of my Dmen (league in Sig)

I can keep all 4 - Byf, Kling, letang & Ghost - minors.

The team that keeps asking has some interesting pieces, Perry, Kuznetsov, Panarin, Spooner, Huberdeau...

Which would you move & who would you target?

I was thinking a smaller deal Vatanen and aim for Spooner, although he wants a stud D, not sure he'd take it.

I like this opportunity for you to improve you keepers at the forward position. I would offer Vatanen and one of Johnson/Krejci/Schwartz for Kz or Panarin. This might no be accepted but wold provide a good indicator on who the other team values and what you would need to make a deal. I do not see any value with trading Vatanen for Spooner as doubt Spooner would be likely not be a keeper for you. Issue is that once you will need to keep Ghost as a D keeper as you can only keep 3 - this will then force you to make other decisions.

I might also shop Letang (while he is not injured) and see what he could bring in return.

Would target Kuznetsov, Panarin if they are available. Those will be hot hot keeper forwards.

As it stands now, 3 is the min we can keep on D... this rule could get reviewed this summer. And with Byf, he qualifies as RW, so if the rule changes to max 3, I can slide him to F to keep.

If either deal goes through, I was thinking of pushing for Paryako... I'm so jacked at C with Giroux (for Stamkos), McDavid & Backstrom, that I was thinking about offering T. Johnson - I'd also be able to bury Paryako this year.. thoughts? or is that just mightily too much for him and I should ask for something else to come with him?

Second deal went through Vatanen & Nyquist for Spooner & J.Johnson, I lose a bit on the back end, but get the best player in the deal, so I'm okay with it... Spooner is closer to being a keeper than either part I gave up.

He had no interest in Letang - bandaid as he referred to him.
