Kadri gestures from bench that he was unhappy with hit.
1. Clean hit, dirty hit?

doesnt really look like a throat slash gesture but i'm pretty sure he was saying "you're dead" or something like that so i wouldnt mind a 1 game suspension, no need for that.

He should have gotten a penalty for it, but obviously didn’t (rule 75.5). I think he’ll get a phone call and a talk, maybe a fine. If this was a reoccurring issue throughout the league, maybe a suspension. Lucic did a hip thrust and arm direction towards the crowd last yr, that’s the last incident for gestures.
Wowrell or something made a throat slash motion (like Kadri) in 1999-2000 season (year 2000 tho), and didn’t get a penalty/suspension. But that’s a different era, and I think the rule was put in because of that (started 2000-2001 season).

Clean hit. He shouldn't have been looking at his skates, especially when approaching the slot.
Kadri should get a suspension for the gesture. It was definitely a throat-slitting gesture, and if that wasn't clear enough, he spells it out clearly with words.

Obviously a clean hit and Kadri was pissed about being lit up. The throat-slash gesture is stupid/borderline offensive, I hope the NHL fines him and puts him on notice about not repeating the move.

It was clean, but I get why Kadri thought it was high. Gio hit him standing up, Kadri isn’t tall, I get why he thought it was high. I think he hit his head on the ice, and he thought that pain was because of contact with Gio.
