Which RW would you rather own in a:

    Start 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 2G

Both players are close in terms of upside, but I think Voracek has a slightly higher points ceiling (+- 5 points). In terms of SOG, BS and even Hits, Voracek has the upper hand, but since Kucherov has only 3 seasons under his belt, those numbers may rise in his favour down the road.

To borrow from the old adage, Voracek is the bird in the hand (i.e., more of the known commodity), while Kucherov is the enticing "two in the bush" (less known, but offering intriguing upside). I still like Voracek somewhat slightly since he's shown he can produce despite being a top line guy for 2 seasons now, being subjected to the toughest shut down guys on the other team. On the other hand, Kucherov has benefited from a Tampa team that had a better 1A and 1B line situation. And if, let's say, Stamkos leaves, and that creates more of a true top line, then Kucherov could be in for a tougher time.

Voracek is also a RW,LW now.

I’m all for the Voracek side. He’s a PPG player who just goes cold for a month (usually the beginning). He’s been a PPG since November I think.

Correct, as well as a point per game for a 102 game stretch from the end of 2013-14 through all of 2014-15.

I'd take Voracek too, but am I wrong or do Stamkos and Kucherov not face a very similar quality of competition?

May be in the minority but I would take Kucherov. I can't explain it rationally but I just don't trust Voracek. I know he has the history and pedigree and I definitely agree with the one in the hand two in the bush theory generally. However, I cannot shake the feeling that Voracek could just disappear anytime. No real reason, hard to justify but just gut feeling I don't trust him as a top tier guy.
