Play it safe or go for broke, OEL or Ghose..please help

Really appreciate any ideas.
Thinking of dropping Shatts (2pts last 10 games 0/6) (.60ppg) very disappointing lately. And adding either OEL (6/10) (.73 ppg) or Ghost (11 in last 10) (.82 ppg) My 5th of 6 trades for the year.

The situation...I'm in 3rd by one point and 2nd is maybe catchable. One problem is 2nd and those below me have 8-10 more man games left than I do. Drop Shats, add Ghost or OEL I gain 5 games which is good.
No team near me has Shatts or Ghost. All the teams near me have OEL.

The Conservative thing to do is add OEL. This will neuter his production. We all get the same points from him and I'm OK with that but it won't move me up or down the ladder and I want to at least finish in the money (3rd) where I am now. The only risk is if Shatts takes off and outscores OEL ROS...but it's really irrelevant as no one else has him so no one else gains, I'd lose a bit.

The go for broke is to add Ghost. I'd be the only one in the pool with him and if he were to outscore OEL ROS I'd likely secure 3rd and maybe get up to second. The risk of course...if Ghost stops producing, or produces at a pace less than OEL (who everyone else has) it's likely I would drop out of the $$$. And the other risk of course is dropping Shatts. But that's always the risk in making a trade...you hope the guy you dump doesn't take off.

So, appreciate any opinions. Drop Shatts? Add OEL or Ghost. Play it safe. Go for broke. I guess...are you confident in Ghost ROS.

Our Pool Rules.....Points only....G-1 A-1
This is a non-draft pool. Everyone simply picks a set number of players. Thus, multiple participants can have the same player among their set roster.
So all of our 12 franchises share many of the same players on our 25 man rosters which consist of 19 forwards, 4 D and 2 rookies. Before the season starts the “commish” selects 25 historically high scoring forwards and 10 d-men whom we are not allowed to put on our roster at any time during the season (the restricted list). Makes it more interesting as we have star players to choose from but no “super-stars.

Thanks guys. Pool is 16 years old with 8-9 of us having participated each year and 3-4 guys come and go. Don't remember ever finishing out of the $$$$...won it several times and again last year, with lots of help from here.
This year I already have no shot at 1st. Maybe 2nd with a hot Ghost. Possibly 3rd with OEL.
I do like being in the $$$. Have to decide what to do by noon tomorrow but leaning to Ghost and going for the gold, er silver.
