If you can move Letang for OEL I'd make that move.
That said, I wouldn't trade my OEL for Letang.
I have Letang and when he is healthy the guy is a frickn beast. He was just named 3rd star of the month leading all D in scoring with 14 points in 10 games. I want to start to rebuild a bit with youth so is now the time to move him and do you think Letang can even fetch OEL in a trade?
team in sig
12 team H2H keeper league. Scoring: G, A, +/-, Hits, Blocked shots, PPP, SOG, GWG Goalie categories W, GAA, SV%, Saves
Keep 13 players and 6 Farm players must be under 24 and played less then 100 NHL career games. If under 24 but played over 100 games they cannot stay on farm but do not have to be protected in off season.
C: E. Malkin, R. Hartman, M. Zibanejad , J. Eriksson Ek M. Frost
LW: C. Keller, R.Thomas A. Kempe
RW: P.Kane, V.Tarasenko T. Bertuzzi

That wont do it. He's essentially a much younger version of letang with far more braincells remaining
10 Team Keeper (5)
Head-to-Head
G, A, SOG, PPP, FW, HIT, BLK
3 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, 4 D, 1 UTIL, 2 GOALIE

LW: Guentzal, Lee, J.T Miller, Rakell

G: M. Jones, Price
I don't think the OEL owner would do it but it's worth a shot
I agree with the other respondents.
You could try to sweeten the deal by adding in a prospect or one of your non-keepers who could be a keeper on the other GM's roster.
I like OEL better....Letang is too injury prone.....

Agree with the above.
If you could guarantee a full season out of Letang, then that's who I'd want..... but you just can't lol
Yea, the trade was rejected. I tried Letang and Jeff Carter for Dubinsky and OEL. I kinda new going in that it would get shot down though.

That's tough. Might just stick it out with letang ans cross your fingers for no injuries. Can't give up much more than that
Letang is the ultimate tease - he'll produce like a madman for chunks, then get injured, miss time, and spend a few games upon return getting back into the grove.
Rinse, repeat.
When he's "on", Letang is a monster and you'll be tempted to trade anything for him, but most will be scared off because of the tag. I'd give up something decent for the Letang lotto ticket but not something great. OEL is great.

Offer the trade straight up but he's so hot right now (and it's not the first time - absolute beast when healthy and Pens get going) that I don' think I'd add any sweeteners.

Letang over the yr will likely come out to roughly the same as OEL. But the fact he’ll be on your IR for 30games a yr kills you in H2H.
If I was in a Roto league, I’d take a chance at Letang if OEL or Letang were not keepers for my team, one last Hail Mary for the win. But as an OEL owner, I’d prolly hit reject without thinking much about it.
