Tough one.
If your league counted hits, I'd say yes but since you don't, and shots are only worth 0.1, I think I'd keep Seguin here. I do think Ovechkin scores more goals than Seguin but I dont think it will be that far apart.
Not to mention, Seguin is six years younger than Oveckin. I am not saying OV is old and is in decline, but those six years are big when we look forward.

If it was me, I would probably keep Seguin because of the whole age factor.. Seguin is no slouch when it comes to scoring points a nd goals for that matter!!

Sorry guys...should have mentioned that it is not the league in the signature. Only goals and assists counted.
Séguin has not been a second half stud so far in his career. Could be different this year hopefully. But thanks for the feedback guys

this is just my opinion and I reiterate opinion. I take age into account a lot more than most and once a player is 30 I tend to steer clear even more so now that the league is faster and a player's prime has arguably shifted from 26-31 to 21-26. Based on your sig you already pulled the trigger so my statement is null and void. It doesn't hurt you either way you just need to have him stay healthy now.

Nah...team in sig is old. Didn't make this trade. The question is, who will outperform who till the end. Ovie has a few games in hand and I don't think he hit his stride yet. Séguin had a slow January. Will he pick up the pace.

I'd stick with Seguin but it's definitely close. If guys are close in value, i tend to go with the younger guy
