Sorry for laughing but that bolded quote is just classic Malkin at this time of year! What does that even mean?!?

Evgeni Malkin is getting closer to a return from a lower body injury but has not practiced since February 4.
"He had a good day today," Sullivan said on Sunday. "He is making progress. … Hopefully he continues to make progress, and he's that much closer. We'll evaluate when we get back after (Monday's) game." Malkin has missed the last five games and Monday will make it six in a row. Consider him day-to-day. Malkin is one of the best offensive players in the NHL as he has 23 goals and 49 points in 49 games.

This is becoming ridiculous...
Evgeni Malkin (lower body) isn't taking part in Wednesday's practice.
Recent reports suggest that Malkin is making progress, but the fact that he still isn't practicing suggests that his return isn't imminent. He's missed six straight contests.

Sigh...New Player Note Wed, Feb 17
Evgeni Malkin (lower body) has been skating on his own for the last few days.
Advice: Malkin still isn't practicing with the Penguins, but that's at least a silver lining. Penguins coach Mike Sullivan thinks he's close to returning.

He's been ruled out for both weekend games, to the surprise of no one who isn't kidding him/herself:

This is the first year I've drafted Malkin in a frozen $50 league I'm in and it will be the last. Every year...
Any updates on Geno? Everything seems very quiet!
That is great news! Picked him up just before the all-star game and have yet to enjoy any production.
