Default protective netting behind goal + Raptors seating

I'm going to see a game at ACC in the future in which I have fairly decent seats .

however , I'm toying with the idea of going to a second game but with ''cheap seats'' in the balcony section behind the goal (actually first row of the cheap seats which are not too shabby of a view imo)

how much does the protective netting bother you ? I'd imagine since I'm in the upper deck I'm above the netting instead of looking through it but I'm sure its still noticed .

I may also attend a Raptors game with same thought of finding best bang for the buck in the upper deck - any advice here ?

There is no protective netting for NBA games at the ACC.

The nets come off before the beams get lifted to the ceiling.

And first row greens are really good seats. Love the view/comfort/atmosphere from up there.

I have never been bothered with the netting view wise. If you focus on it you’ll see it, but once you’re into the game you forget about it.

As for basketball, you don’t want behind the net, you want the sides. Here are 2 pictures of basketball seats. The first one was a great seat, but lower bowl. The second one was up beside the “Leafs Mural” by where the flags are that you sing the national anthem at. That was actually a playoff game 2 yrs ago, but both were good views, except the 2nd one was a bit far away. If we were row 1 instead of row 20 I bet it would have been a much better view.

thanks for posting the pics , rep for you .

yeah , the seats for raps game are around 59 bucks u.s / first row of the upper deck which seems like a really fair deal .I'm just a casual hoop fan so the idea is to simply experience an nba game live without breaking the bank .

Just try and get a side view of the court. It’s much better the closer you get to halfcourt. But if you can’t it’s no big deal. You’ll get to see the new Jumbotron at the stadium, and get to see a great team play. The raps have this new T-Shirt cannon, it’s pretty cool. It’s kinda like the following:
