If you can buy low on Rinne, I'd give that a shot first and take my chances with him turning it around. But really depends on how desperate you are for goaltending though.
Title sums up my predicament fairly well.
Active goalies are Condon and Holtby. Would like to replace Condon with Elliott, Halak and/or Rinne via trade. I also have Price on IR.
There are some subtleties that I won't get into regarding burying players in the minors, and salary cap implications, but I'm really interested in thoughts on these three G's for the rest of the year?
Thanks.

I am also planning to add Korpisalo via waivers this week, but he may just hang out in the minors for me.

Yahoo! 1 year league, 9 teams, Points only [G (3pts), A (2pts), PPP (1pt), Hits (0.1pt) *** W (4pts), Goals Against (-2pts), SV (0.2pt), SO (3pms)
C: McDavid, Couturier, Kopitar, D.Strome
LW: Guentzel, Connor, Miller, Kaprizov
RW: Stamkos, Stone, Teravainen, Tatar
D: Dahlin, Theodore, Andersson, Dumba
G: Shersterkin, Talbot
Obviously depends on price to pay etc.
I like them Rinne, Halak, Elliott.
I think a buy low on Rinne is a great idea right now. Could be had for cheap, on a team that seems to be picking in up (especially with Johansen trade) I expect Rinne to improve.
Halak is a steady option on the Islanders.
Elliott is really only a short term fix, although he's playing great, when Allen returns he'll get less starts. Although if you can get him cheap then perhaps he fills the hole until Price returns.

Scoring cats and roster spots are crucial pieces of missing info. Whether or not you have to start 1G or 2G is a big factor. Same with whether or not you have daily / weekly line ups.

As I said, there are a lot of intricacies being a salary cap keeper league with 23 man pro rosters, a deep farm system, and defined contract lengths. I didn't want to get into too many details. Just looking for some thoughts on those three, etc. Thanks!
This is helpful. Because its weekly starts, I'd shy away from Halak. Between his injury history and strong backup in Griess, he's a risky weekly start. Elliott is gold, until Allen is back. I'd try for Rinne as a buy low opportunity because he's guaranteed to get starts with little completion for his job.
