A bit of good news for Mike Green owners!

LW: Guentzel, Connor, Miller, Kaprizov
RW: Stamkos, Stone, Teravainen, Tatar

Green still has to show something first.
Yes, it would be nice if Green makes the best of this opportunity to get a little extra PP and ice time. I am not holding my breath though. Detroit's offense has been pretty sluggish so far this year. Good time for Green owners if they begin their break out.

this news cannot possibly hurt Kronwall's production this year.
Might help his plus/minus, in fact.

Kronwall is one of the more overrated players in fantasy hockey, mostly because he looks good in highlights.
Mike Green has been poor this year on the stat sheet.
DET plays a 4F/1D PP unit.
Kronwall anchors one unit.
M.Green anchors the other unit.
So keep an eye on who gets the promotion.
Brenden Smith is the lead dog to anchor PP2.
The other night, Danny DeKeyser got some 3-on-3 OT time and looked very smooth out there.
I think he had the GWG in OT.
As DeKeyser is a LH-shot (like Kronwall), he might get an opportunity as well.
He's a guy I think could rise up in to the gig... I don't have full faith in B.Smith's puck-moving, advancing skills.
Detroit also shuffled their lines yesterday in practice a bit:
Larkin - Datsyuk - Tatar
Abdelkader - Zetteberg - Nyquist
Richards - Sheahan - Pulkkinen
Jurco - Glendening - Helm

Kronwall has been limited by this knee injury for most of the season according to the coach. I think that this is at least a part of the reason for his poor start.
