Hey Guys,

Been offered Adam Jones and Ian Desmond
for my Michael Brantley and Russell Martin

Currently Brantley is my 9th of 10 keepers....Martin I was not planning on keeping.
Lackey is leading the way for the 10th spot....Iwakuma and Martin trailing in at 11 and 12.

Who do you prefer Adam bad back? Jones at 30 yrs old or Michael miss some time for shoulder Brantley 28yrs old who hits for better avg and a bit more speed?

Is Ian Desmond worth ANYTHING?

Where do you get this info? It says Brantley is on track for early april may....

I am the defending champ and actually did a sweet overhaul on my team to get younger but I actually think I'm better now!
So ya I'm in it to win NOW.

The owner of Harper and Cole expressed interest in a Donaldson, Felix and Brantley deal until he thought maybe Brantley could be out a bit.
I traded McCutchen for Arenado. I then asked this Harper owner who I could target to get the deal done instead of Brantley and he agreed Encarnacion. So I went at that owner who's team was by far the worst in the league and gave him a lot of keepers for him. Then made the Harper,Cole,Paxton for Encarnacion,Donaldson and Felix trade.
very happy. Super sell high on Donaldson. Doubt he will repeat his monster season but even if he does!

So what about Desmond? Any value there? I'm thinking not really....he COULD sign somewhere in a good spot...he had speed and some pop 2 yrs ago.
SS is brutal, all the good young ones are snatched up.

Jones provides more power, Brantley provides more balanced numbers. If you can deal with the avg hit and sb hit, it's a good gamble. Jones will provide more power obviously and should be able to produce similar numbers next year. Depends how your league format is I guess, but Desmond could be a nice little wildcard if you have to keep him, though I'd see if he'd offer anyone else as the add on.

He ended up moving Jones and Desmond to someone else. I like Brantley, just hope he comes back on time. I've turned my attention to moving him for Cruz....maybe something else just to assure I'm off to a healthy start.
