I received an offer this AM that I turned down as it was too low of a return, but last night I woulda done it. in fact I was trolling the others teams to see what I would want in return.

If anybody had actually offered me something close, this post goes into a "Traded Rinne, how'd I do?" thread

It should be mentioned that Rinne's All-Star inclusion probably isn't a positive. Whether his issue is one of confidence, technique or health going to that exhibition to get torched probably doesn't help any.

I don't think the All Star game is treated like that by the players. I remember Fleury last year or a couple of years back (one of the most mentally fragile goalies in the league until recently) got burned at the all star game but continued to have a good season and was the strongest player for the Pens in an otherwise mediocre playoff run. More damaging to his psyche would be if he got fewer starts.
