Ramblings high jacking?

Is anyone else getting the ramblings high jacked by another ad site? I am getting this each and every time now on an iPhone

guessing you're using safari?

try closing it and then going into settings and deleting all the browsing data


if that still doesn't work, just download another browser like chrome and see if that works.

Yeah I've been unable to read the Ramblings on my iPad for a couple days because of this ad takeover.

First of all everyone, I want to apologize. I'm sorry about this.

These clowns have snuck an ad into the rotation and all iPhone users have been getting re-directed away from the site. This has gone on for about 10 days. We have tried a few things, and on Thursday I thought we had it. In fact, I think we did have it for a couple of days, cleaned up.

Now we just paused mobile ads altogether. Is it still showing? I don't have an iPhone so I can't check myself.

If this is STILL showing, I'll delete the ad spots and start from scratch.

which suggestion did you use? clearing safari cache or switching browser?

im curious because i use safari on my iphone and have never seen this redirect. although im not sure if i read the ramblings on my iphone.

try this:

in iOS 8 or later, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. In iOS 7 or earlier, tap Clear History and tap Clear Cookies and Data.
To clear other stored information from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.

make sure you close all instances of safari prior to doing that i.e double tap home button and swipe up to close the open safari window

if that didn't work were you able to try opening the ramblings using a different web browser like chrome?

and if that didnt work, i think this might be a temporary fix until dobber sorts out the issue. try disabling javascript (the site will probably look like crap, but i think the ramblings should still be readable):

tap Settings > Safari > Advanced and turn JavaScript on or off.

one of those methods (deleting browsing data after safari is fully closed, using Chrome, or disabling javascript) should allow you to read the ramblings ad-free in the meantime.

That appears to have fixed it, I cannot get it to happen.
