The new update screwed me for getting on fantrax at work. Stupid older browser.

The old interface physically looked like something designed in 2002 but aside from that it was very intuitive. The new version is full of flaws. The graphics are better but I agree with everyone saying everything is too big. They seem to forget that many people still use the site on laptops with 15' screens, not gigantic desktop monitors.

I did some customizing to make the site a little more bearable.

Click the gear icon in the top right of any league page in fantrax to customize the look and feel.

Use these settings for the first three tabs:

General

Adjust spacing - move slider all the way to the left

Adjust content size - move slider all the way to the left

Show main header - OFF

League

Multi-column layout - ON

Adjust multi-column width ratio - move slider all the way to the left

Show all hidden themes - OFF

Show league logo - OFF

Enable NHL theme - OFF

Set position of standings pane - Standard


Players

Show player headshots on stats page (Desktop) - OFF

Show player headshots on stats page (Mobile) - OFF



Note that there will still be blank spaces in the layout where some of these items would normally be (i.e league logo just shows up as wasted space that I can't remove), again terrible programming.

As of tonight the live scoring tracks all categories in real time. Previously we would have to wait till after the game to get stats like hits, faceoffs, plus/minus, etc. Much better experience following live with everything up to date!
