Fantrax 2.0

An email was sent out to all Fantrax users on Dec. 22nd indicating Fantrax 2.0 is coming " soon".

I sent in an email to support to ask when and what changes will be made.

Neil from Fantrax support responded back " next month" so I assume that means this month.

Has anyone else inquired about what changes will be made and when the exact fantrax 2.0 release date will be?

I went after their customer support last year when they had a string of downtime and one of the things they mentioned was improving their live scoring. It was supposed to be ready for this season and I have no idea if this is actually part of 2.0 but it would be nice.

I got the same email Shakes. My fantasy hockey keeper league is on there (premium league). I just figured it was some b.s. superficial upgrade. Never inquired nor have I received any subsequent updates.

I should actually read my emails before deleting them. I'm sure I got the same email, but I didn't really give it more than a cursory glance. I'll wait for further updates...

Below is what I received back after I sent an inquiry. It appears no changes to the current features, its more of a " look and feel" upgrade.

1) Next month.

2) It's a UI/look & feel upgrade - the features will be the same. New features will continue to be added aside from that, and will appear in the New Features page (which requires an update) after they are added.

I got that too, just been waiting and waiting.

There are some tweaks I keep bugging them to make, just can't remember what they are at the moment,.. damn it

I asked them about plans for a site redesign in September and they told me, "Absolutely. We are in fact in the middle of a complete site redesign, and it will be the slickest looking fantasy site out there."

I followed up in December and was told, "It should be ready next month."

A fantasy football promo email I received this week contained this new logo....

I've been looking forward to this redesign for a long time...the current UI is the biggest thing that bothers me about the platform. I really hope they nail it.

I requested they offer a prospect only online draft...

logic being, if you can block all prospects from being drafted - you should be able, with relative ease - to create the code that would allow only prospects to be drafted -

it's just the reverse.

Just tried this out for my dynasty league. Pretty cool so far.
