I work/sit online all day as an analyst, so the gym helps keep me moving. Provides some needed alone time from day to day family living as well. I would likely go crazy without it!

It's why I loathe January as far as the gym goes. At the same time, I appreciate the income they bring in, keeping my rates lower in the process.

Fair point rainydrinkwater. I live in Ontario and recently switched to World Gym. $10 bucks a month, 24 hours and brand new equipment. Can't beat it, highly recommend!

Which makes this time of year really awkward for a guy who's going to be going back in January (kind of took the last 3~4 weeks of December off because I'm a lazy slacker) but will probably come off as a resolutioner.
