Why is Virtanen back on the ice? This all comes down to poor coaching for me.

Yeah Virtanen was the reason they lost. Doesn't matter to him since he's making big cash already

For me Canada just never looked like a cohesive team, that and untimely penalties, cost them the most

This was still an upset. Canada is better than Finland, they just didn't win. That happens. Finland will never be on Canada's level at any age level. They had home ice advantage and big ice advantage

Uh huh. Expected to win and did.Seriously about half of what you say is completely wrong, and half of the rest is meant to troll people. Of that final quarter almost all of it is jacking off to some Sens player or prospect

I'm some glad Vancouver Canucks loaned Virtanen to Canada. Probably their worst forward all tournament.

I think you're stretching it a bit at this point. While Kahkonen looked good, they still had a goalie that let in 3 in 10 and looked really iffy.

Most of their advantage came from that top line and having a lethal powerplay, while Canada took many dumb penalties and had an iffy defensive squad.

But to say they had better goaltending, to me, is a stretch. Coaching is not easily determinable in a game like this one.

This is true, but virtanen penalties get called in North America. He should have been benched after the 1st dumb one he took(the holding that negated the 5 on 3) but pour coaching puts him back out there, and what happens? Big surprise, he takes not 1 but 2 more. Really disappointed with Canada's coaching.
