C'mon, you can't blame Rinne for last night's loss. He saved 31 of 33 shots. His offence only gave him 1 goal. When your goalie has .939 SV%, you can't blame the goalie for the loss. Yes, the Tarasenko goal was probably stoppable but overall Rinne had a strong game.

Rinne's got 2 wins in his last 14 games... when you're considered an elite goalie and you put up those kind of numbers... I'm gonna blame you. He should be helping them steal some games.

And that Tarasenko goal was SOFT as shit. He's been giving up a ton of soft goals like that in crucial moments of games over the past month.

I'm actually so fortunate this is coming at a time where my team is managing to carry me despite how poorly he's doing.

Our league setup is +5 points for a win, +0.1 point per save, 7 points for a shutout, -0.8 for a GA, and -2 for a loss. So you can imagine with most of Rinne's starts recently involving giving up 2-3 goals on relatively small number of shots and losing the game, he's actually been pretty much a negative player for me for awhile now. Last week between Rinne not doing that great and Dubnyk being injured I got 3.1 points from my goalies.

My opponent got a combined 33.7 from his goalies (Quick, Halak, Holtby). lol.

Might add it to my list of mistakes but the patience has run out. Shipped him for Yakupov and grabbed Ramo off the wire for dusty Iginla. Ramo/Yakupov for Rinne/Iggy in a dynasty that really values youth pretty decent move. Gotta think Calgary matches Nashville the rest of the way and looks like Ramo has secured the top gig and I'll take Yak over Iggy all day. At least that's what I'm telling myself lol.

Now if this goes like the rest of my deals this year, cue the SO run for Pekka......
