MacKinnon is good enough to make this close now but probably lose in the short term. However, Pavelski is 31, while MacKinnon is 20. Your league doesn't even necessarily need to be around for 3+ years for this to pay off. The age difference could be enough to pay dividends as soon as next year.

I agree with Laidlaw. It's very close now, Pavelski is so underrated fantasy asset, one of the top players for the past 2-3 years. But in a keeper league I prefer Mac.

To prove it - in the team in my signature I'm going to keep Mac, but with McDavid, Karlsson, Holtby and Eichel, I'm not keeping Pavelski.
