I want to see more of Sparks. He was hung out to dry a bit. He got a shut out against the Oilers which couldn't mean too much but got one in his debut nonetheless. Hopefully keep him up for awhile.

I don't really see much of a future for him though. I was surprised he even got the starts he was given and when Bernier comes back up soon he'll be sent back down. While Bernier's in the AHL, I'm sure Toronto will give Reimer most of the starts

I have somewhat high hopes for him. Has excelled at every level he's been at. Hard to say though, hard to predict with some goalies. Carey Price didn't have stats that jumped way out at you in juniors but he is now the best in the world, there were others who had better numbers but didn't make it. We will see though. I'm rooting for him since I got him on my team lol.

yeah... I was thinking the same thing. And wasn't it like 3 years ago when he made that roster and watched mainly from the stands? But I may be wrong.

    relax guys.

sparks had a great night agaisnt the worst team in the NHL.

helleybuck had a great night against the second worst team in the NHL.

insane how in both of my one year leagues these guys were both picked up. i can understand the latter due to pavs' injury but sparks?? right now he's barely an NHL goalie on an awful team.

Come on guys, we are hockey fans and our lives are based on 'hockey seasons'... The 2015 world cup was end of last year...

Hellebuyck played 8 games for the US against mostly NHL and KHL competition and had a GAA of 1.37 and SV% of .948 and was best goalie of the on a rather lack luster US Squad that won Bronze... I think that set the bar on what his capabilities are in top tier pro...

Unless your league counts "Tears Shed" as a category, I don't see the kid having any fantasy value moving forward.
