Default time to sell high on bobrovsky

Goalie Bob has been playing great. In my league in signature (which is an auction league and in which Bobro is not a keeper option), is it time to sell high on him? Any thoughts on whether Mason is good enough with Holtby to keep me in contention? Hellebuyck?

No, goalie Bob is the real deal. No, the Flyers stink and it could be a long year for Mason. No, Hellebuyck is the future in Winnipeg but he isn't even guaranteed a roster spot when Pavelec returns and we don't know if he is ready to produce at this level right away.

If your team is even close to competing, you have to keep Bobrovsky. If your team is floundering and near the bottom with no hope, then I can see a reason to consider it.

thanks all - you've talked me down. I am sitting in 2nd of 12 so I think I will be competing come march/april (fingers crossed). (nb: now remembering how Bobro is a second half goalie)

I wouldn't be moving Bob off your roster in hopes that Mason can find traction and/or Hellebuyck can steal the reigns in Winnipeg.

I do think Helly will be the man, but the Jets have shown time and again that they will play Pavalec, despite his below-average performances. It'll likely be two full seasons before we see Connor take over as the undisputed #1. Meanwhile Mason has floundered mightily and any help coming from the Philly backend is also at least a year away. Probably two or three years.

Bob is a tier 1 goaltender. Mason is a borderline 2/3 and Hellebuyck is still a prospect. Hold on to Sargent Bob

It's not selling high unless your team ends up being much better down the road.

I am firmly in the "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!?!! CAMP. KEEP BOB.", but I am willing to listen to the question. What would you hope to get back for him? Would it help your team more than owning a top 10 goalie. I'll hang up now and take the answer off of the air.
