Krieder or lee?

Who's the better fantasy own. This season and beyond. For league on Sig.
Im bias towards Krieder as he's a ranger, so if like a few different opinions.

This is a tough one. But I like Lee here although I'm gambling a bit. Both these guys will give you very nice roto numbers but I just can't ignore the fact that if Lee skates decent minutes with JT his offensive upside is better than Kreiders'. Even if that doesn't happen immediately, the two are still very close and I'd be willing to take the chance that Lee gets the opportunity he needs to really shine.

Good point, thanks. I'm still undecided. I own both but have had a few offers for each and in deciding which one to keep and which one to sell.

Very close comparison and difficult to understand the long term outlook for Lee to play with Krieder. I do know that my league has a higher value on Krieder, and as soon as Lee is off the Tavares line it is likely he becomes a free agent. The guide shows that both players have basically the same 3yr out-look so will likely come down to choice. My guess is that Krieder will likely get a slightly higher price in trades - but this may not be consistent across leagues. It is so close I would move the player who get's the most value (provided you are happy with the return).

This year, I think the difference between Kreider and Lee is a coin flip. both should get you 50's ish points with Kreider giving you a little more PIM's.

Beyond this year I think Kreider is the better own. Give him a couple to three years to hit his potential, high 60's nearly 70pts 100PIM. Don't get me wrong. Lee is talented as well but i don't think he will hit your cats as well as Kreider will.

I agree. It's a close call, very similar players. I would have to give the edge to Kreider though, this year and in the future. even if Lee plays with JT, it's not for long periods of time. I don't think he'll have a stint like he did last year this year. Kreider has a ton of talent around him, though none like JT, and can still produce, no matter where he's placed in the lineup.

I like Kreider more. More PIMs and has held a pretty good plus/minus rating for his career. I always feel like he should be doing more given his skillset, but I don't think he has the hockey sense to keep up. Still the more valuable player even if he doesn't break out. Kreider is actually younger than Lee.

I was hopeful of him earning that glorious spot on JT's wing. Drafted Lee, added Nelson, I'm about to give up. It's JT and Okposo and the flavour of the week. I'm over Lee and every Islander forward not named JT/Okposo.
I'd take Kreider.
