Default Sell High on Nilsson or Is He Real Deal?

    For league in sig.

I drafted Nilsson with a mid round pick this season hoping he would take over at some point from Talbot. Looks like that is officially the case now. He's looked really great as of late.

I'm wondering if I should sell high now or if he is the real deal and potentially the Oilers goalie of the future. I'm able to stash 10 players on my farm so there's no rush to trade him.

I have Holtby, Dubnyk, Mason and Neuvirth as my goalies and we only start 2 per night so I have no use for Nilsson and could use some help at F or D.

Should I try and move him or sit tight? Or should I try and move the Mason/Neuvirth combo and use Nilsson as my 3rd goalie?

As a Nilsson owner who doesn't like Talbot I doubt someone trades a significant asset to get Nilsson even if he's the starter.

I dont think his numbers justify calling him a "sell high".

Dont get me wrong, as someone who watches the Oilers play frequently, he's played well for the Oilers but he's also cost himself some wins due to inconsistency.

You might as well stash him seeing as thats an option and hope that the Oilers pile up a few more wins once McDavid comes back. At that point, if he starts racking up some wins, then you can consider him a sell-high player.
