My best shot in the dark is February 2nd. The all-star week would give him a nice long stretch to be fully healed and back up to speed. Anything before that, I will consider gravy... But who knows?

He's been skating but some light work without his full gear.
No lateral movements.
Only light skating drills.
So I would say he is not coming back in the next 2 weeks...

Update on Price today, FWIW... Bergevin says it could be at least three weeks to a month before Price returns. So we're looking at perhaps mid-February if he doesn't have a setback.

Price owners and Habs fans should watch this video of Price trying to skate today on his own. Last 30 seconds of the video says it all, he's still hurting and doesn't look anywhere near close to returning.

Jeez. the whole video he barely looks like he can move. Can barely turn, can barely skate. Right knee? Right groin? Left knee? Left groin? Feels like it could be all of it.
I don't know what Montreal has to gain by pretending he's not done until next season.

Is there a precedent for something like this? Maybe Crosby with his neck? It's just so strange for something to drag on so long without progress or surgery.
And yet the Habs still baflingly soldier on with the three headed monster of Condon/Tokarski/Scrivens?

He won't be back any time soon. Not nearly possible for him to be playing soon enough to be the deciding factor in their playoff hopes (by the time he can play that will likely already be determined), so there's no rush IMO. I think MTL is out this year, and I'm a MTL fan.
