Yes, I'd drop the back up in St Louis for the 1A/co-starter in Detroit.

Yes, makes this move. Hitchcock wanted to name a starter by Nov. Elliott has started one, maybe two, games this month. Allen was even given the start on the second night of a back to back, which is even more telling because Allen was pulled from that first game in the back to back after letting in 3 goals on 7 shots. It's clear Allen is the Blues starter and Elliott is truly a back up.
The situation in Detroit is interesting. They are giving each goalie 50% of the starts right now (basically switching every game) and they are both putting up good numbers. Mrazek has already shown once that he can take the starting gig away from Howard, so at best he owns the Wings net by seasons end. At worst, barring injury, he stays in an even time share. So he'll get you more starts than Elliott

My reasoning on this was that Elliott's starts would likely have better percentages than Anderson's. As you can see in the roster/settings in my sig (roster 2), we are rather percentage-heavy.

I get the Elliott logic, but he is just not having that season. It's a tough call for me among Mrazek, Lehtonen, and Anderson because I think they could all come in pretty close in SV% and GAA. Mrazek has the edge in those categories now and it wouldn't surprise me to see him finish ahead at the end of the season. The case for Anderson has been made above. That said, Lehtonen has good numbers and a great win/ loss record (of course, he's not going to win 9 out 10 going forward). He would be my choice for the most potential value out of a third starter.
