This rumour has been around for a loooooooooooooooooong time (i.e. that Snow doesn't want to pay Okposo). I read about this a lot last year. Hard to really know how true it is, though...

im fully expecting okposo to get moved at the deadline. hes a good player but not worth 6m+, many talented wingers could put up similar numbers playing next to tavares.

Ya, Okposo is more than just "the guy who plays with Tavares". The Isles probably have enough young depth coming up to eventually replace him, but some team is gonna be getting a very good winger this summer.

How much north of 6M? Saad just got 6M and I want Okposo over Saad. I think Okposo under 7M is reasonable.

Okposo is a much better player than Moulson. He was a 7th overall pick for a reason.
Playing with Tavares obviously helps, but I think Okposo will be able to hold value elsewhere.

Agreed. I like Okposo, but if he's getting $6M there's not much value there. Is he worth that? Probably, but he won't be the engine that drives the scoring.

im not sure but Saad was a RFA, okposo as a UFA should get at least that. i will give credit that okposo did play pretty well when he was the 2nd line RW.
