Steen for Luongo

I'm in a 15 team roto league, one goalie start a night. I'm sitting in 4th at the moment.

I've been offered Luongo for my Steen.
Should I do this?

The first thing I would do is add whether you have max games or not into your signature. It's really important since it helps gauge how much your bench is used on a day to day basis. This will likely be relevant for future questions.

Depending on this, and that the unknown of whether Gibson will stay up much longer, I would be tempted to accept this deal.

You have 11 forwards and 7 starting slots total. How often do your bench players get in? It seems to be that you have ample players to replace Steen, even though he's having a solid year. And if Gibson goes down, you need more goalie games.

How are you doing category-wise? Key strengths/weaknesses, gaps between competitors etc?

Thanks horrorfan. I do have max games. Whatever the default is for yahoo Roto leagues. I'm pretty average in all the max games played. I haven't really had too many problems benching players yet. I'm a little above average in all the categories. I could use more PP points, goals assists and gwg's. Goalie stats are fairly decent right now. I do hope Gibson stays up. Apparently he's playing Chicago tonight.

If you think you need a goalie and there is a good one being offered to you make the move. The are plenty of other forwards that can fill most of what you lose in Steen. They are far fewer goalies around that can do what Luongo would do for your team.
