He's played 4 games down there. That sounds like more than a wake up call...
Wouldn't shock me if hes there for a few months.
I don't understand how a player that did 50 points in his second year is now stuck in the minors. Capuano must really have a problem with him.
Is he droppable at this point?

Purely stat checking, but two apples in four games down there probably wasn't the result the Isles or fantasy owners were hoping for. I still fully expect to see him back up this calendar year.

Keep on, keepin' on.
I doubt anyone here can honestly answer this question being posed. Strome obviously wasn't doing enough to warrant his spot with the big club so I would be surprised if we see him anytime soon. Unless they get a bunch of injuries, I would simply watch him in the minors and hope he gets it together.

Unreal he got sent down. He was struggling but after a full year in the NHL and got 50 pts? Brutal. Doesnt help my fantasy team either
I don't know how actively involved in the play he is but I expected more than 0.5 PPG in Bridgeport.
And only 1 goal combined between his NHL and AHL games played so far this season. My gut tells me Strome is out partying and not particularly focused on his game, which is understandable for a 22-year old star playing in New York. That being said, he needs to get his act together and start hitting the rink/training room every day to get back on track. 2 apples in 4 games in the minors won't cut it.
He better get back this calendar year because Yahoo won't even qualify him for the IR so right now he's just dead weight in the worst way possible on any fantasy roster.
