Anderson for me.
He'll get the bulk of the starts. He has the occasional hiccup but he should be solid for the season with a good team in front of him.
Second choice would be Pavelec, but I think Hutch will steal more starts than Hammond will.
Simple question.
I want to roll with two goalies (Dubnyk is my other one). Having two shitty goalies isn't exactly helping.....
so out of this list, who would you have as your second.
Anderson (currently own)
Pavelec
Smith
Ullmark (stash Lehner on IR and swap out when he comes back)
Ward
Reimer
Bernier
Cream of the crap...I know.
I've also tossed around having both Leaf goalies....but I don't think that would help any either.

Hammond is what scares me. I'd be scared of losing the starts. I want to make sure I meet the minimum starts each week (4 for our league)

I would go with Anderson as well. If you are too unsure about Hammond stealing starts and possibly the #1 gig, then Smith is your man since he is the clear starter for the Coyotes. The problem there is, he plays for the Coyotes, so while he will get the starts and likely win 40 - 50% of the starts, there are games, where he / the team will let in 5 - 6 or more goals, which will completely butcher your S% and GAA. Better to stick with Anderson in my opinion.

ya I know that....but Anderson just recently let in 7 goals and has a few 4-5 goal stinkers too. I know Ottawa is the better team....Thanks for the input

I'd go with Smith or Ullmark/Lehner ..... Yotes are bad but not nearly as hopeless as last year, they've won 3 of their last 4 games and Smith will get the vast majority of starts.
^ Forgot to add above.....since you only going with 2 goalies, maximizing starts should be your primary concern IMO. Your second goalie needs to be someone who is an undisputed #1 - Smith is the only one in that list who is workhorse starting goalie...The others are in timeshares and I don't trust Ward. Lehner should a #1 when he is back but doesnt have Smith's track record.
