Default Habs Practice with Off-Hand Sticks

I thought this was pretty hilarious. The Habs spent a few minutes at practice playing with their opposite-hand stick. The massive whiff on the slap-shot at the end is the best!

So basically, it was like watching the Maple Leafs practice with their natural sticks.

Ha! That's great! PK... such a kid! I love it!
Pretty smart thing, I think, to let coaches just re-set their players with something that isn't completely silly but not completely serious either.
    Thumbs up!

leafs are 2 points back of the oilers with 1 game in hand. and we did that without any 1st overall picks, and even more impressively with phaneuf on our roster.

    your team sucks more

LOL! I knew I would get a rise out of a Leafs fan or two with that. I consider this a success.

Maybe this is why they couldn't score goals last year?

my point was that the oilers are the only team that are a bigger joke than the leafs, so i can't take your jabs seriously

I'm surprised that this isn't a common thing for D-men to practice given the tendency for composite sticks to break/explode. I'd figure being able to ice the puck while on the PK with any stick you can get your hands on is worth a little practice.
