No kidding. I wonder why he'd think Krejci was better than Nash or Krug was better than Weber

I was offered Backstrom, Duchene for my Galchenyuk, Couturier (I THINK). I cant remember if it was couturier or some other guy. I looked back at our messages and cant find it for some reason

I traded Ovechkin maybe 10 or 15 games into the lockout season. He was slumping, and had just come off of a 65 point season. The team was a mess, the coaching style wasn't working, and Ovi seemed disinterested.

Picked up Halak, OEL, and McGinn. McGinn was on a hot streak putting decent points and excellent shots and hits per game. I thought he'd approximate what Ovi was bringing and OEL and Halak would help my G/D depth.

Then McGinn fell off a cliff and started to get scratched. Halak got injured and finished the season with 6 wins and an .899 sv%. OEL was decent, but I couldn't keep him (keep 7, and it was him or Subban). And Ovi socred something like 30 goals in the next 35 games to win the Rocket Richard.

My worst was in my points only pool, trading away Duncan Keith for Steve Mason. Keith got 60 points the next season, Mason crumbled.

My best happened in March 2014 when I was going for the win. I traded Niemi, Keith, St. Louis and Getzlaf for Ovi, Benn and Lundqvist. I still have Ovi and Benn.

Most of the deals in my pool look bad or great now, but made sense at the time (ie- trading away overachieving older players for young soon-to-be-superstars: the guys I traded with won the pool, and it built my foundation for my team now, so win-win).

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko

Wowza, what kind of idiot would give up Tavares and Fleury for Crosby?!? Probably the same kind of idiot who drafted Crosby second overall in that same league this year right? What a buffoon!! You'd think he'd have learned his lesson last year.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

I think my Carey Price for Mark Schiefele was the worst trade I ever did in contrast to most lop sided ive accepted. I didnt even know too much about Schief, just figured he was a big time prospect. To my credit (lol) this was before Carey was 'Elite' AND was before I started posting on Dobber and talking to you guys

I say stuff like that to help myself feel better. I use to own Rinne and Price

    :/

Not lopsided for me but the other gm made out like a bandit..

I moved Joe Thornton for Fredrik Norena (you might have to look up this stud goaltender)..this was about 8 or 9 yrs ago..maybe more. I needed a staring goalie and was fresh into fantasy hockey...

I accepted benn, wheeler and a fifth round pick for rask and perry this off-season from a guy who really needed goaltending. Rask and perry would be killing me right now and benn and wheeler are keeping me in the top two.
