I think this question belongs on the prospect board, but it caught my eye since I own him as a prospect in a very deep league. And at this point, I think that's the only kind of league where he has any business being owned. And even then... enh.
Sounds like he's been pretty disappointing after his big showing in the WJC a couple years ago. He wasn't in Nashville development camp this summer, but the Preds still hold his rights thanks to some kind of CBA rule change. Sounds like if he's going to make the NHL, it will be "Joonas Donskoi style" (i.e. left for dead by the team that drafted him and then signed as an FA a few years later after performing well in Europe).
He projects as a 2nd/3rd line tweener or a complimentary type player. A capable goal scorer with a big body, but no top end offensive talent to speak of.
