Default Trying to get Brown or Edelman, need your help!

    Hey guys,
so i've gathered a strong set of RBs through some good(lucky) waiver grabs.
my team is currently in 1st place at 7-1.
12 team league standard cats (non-ppr)

    my team:
    QB (1): Rivers
WR (3): Jeffrey, Evans, M. Bryant
    RB (2): Gurley, Lacy
TE: Kelce, H. Miller(strictly for this bye week)
    Flex: DeAngelo Williams
    Def: Denver
Bench: West, Chris Johnson, Moncrief, V. Jackson
    IR: K. Allen

While others are struggling to start 2 strong RBs, i have a huge excess as you can see.
Also, with Allen done for the season i'd like to upgrade my WR depth.

The owner of Antonio Brown and Julian Edelman reached out to me for RB help.
He offered Brown for Gurley and Bryant (i declined - but i know we can work something out for me to upgrade my WRs)

should i consider Brown for Lacy and Bryant (or is this still too much on my end)
Brown would be nice to have, but i'm thinking why change up my team if it aint broke
i could try getting Edelman with West and Bryant
or should i focus on Brown/

what do you think is my best strategy?

Thanks for any help, sorry about the long post

Focus on Brown. I would have no problem giving up Lacy and Bryant for him.

Thanks, thats what i'm thinking to try i think. If he offered Brown for Gurley and Bryant i'm hoping he'll still do it with Lacy instead (he's a Green Bay fan so maybe)

So he wont do Lacy and Bryant for Brown. He said it needs to include Gurley.

Should i try Lacy and Bryant for Edelman instead?

Nope, not a keeper. should have mentioned that before

Here are all the offers he's given me
    1. Brown for Gurley
    2. Edelman and DeSean Jackson for Gurley
    3. Cooks, James Jones for Lacy
    4. Cooks, James Jones for West

besides being tempted with Brown i think i prefer my side for all these deals.
Will probably explore a trade with other teams to see if i can get something better

Unless you guys think one of these options are good for me

First off, I wouldn't include Gurley in any offer--you have too many other quality backs to deal from.

Honestly, I like your WR's. Jeffery came back strong--he's got a couple of rough matchups, but ends the season with a very favorable run. Evans is coming on strong, and has a great final run, as well. And Bryant isn't as consistent, volume-wise, but can go big any week. He also plays in a potentially explosive offense.

If you think you can get Edelman for Lacy & Bryant, I'd be inclined to try it. But no Gurley.

Another gamble I'd be inclined to try, is trying to get Cooks off him--for depth. Maybe offer Chris Johnson (great numbers, but rough stretch matchups) straight up and see if he bites. The NO offense seems to be waking up some, and their schedule is very favorable the rest of the year.

Thanks for the suggestion. I proposed the cooks for johnson trade, just waiting and see what he thinks of that.
I was never seriously considering trading Gurley, but thanks for the confirmation still.
Brown would be a nice peice to have, but it doesnt look like its meant to be
