    Default RB's To Target

    10-team, non-PPR:

    QB: C Palmer, P Manning
RB: F Gore, L Miller, C Johnson, CJ Anderson, C West, C Michael
    WR: D Thomas, D Hopkins, M Bryant, J Maclin, D Moncrief
    TE: A Gates

    Hi everyone -

Looking to upgrade my RB position, possibly dealing Gore & one of my WR for an upgrade. I'm open to dealing Thomas if it gets me a RB1 in return, but not Hopkins. If I can deal Gore with one of my lesser WR's, that'd be ideal--but not sure it's possible. What RB should I be targeting? Maybe a buy-low?

Not quite a buy-low. Plus, my wife has him and she won't trade him.

Eddie Lacy has to be considered a decent buy low right now. Or maybe Thomas + Gore for Adrian Peterson?

I had actually considered the Thomas/Gore for Peterson deal, but wasn't sure it was enough. It still might not be, but glad I'm thinking along the same lines as someone else.

Peterson is coming off a poor performance, so now would be a good time to try.

I can't see Thomas/Gore for Peterson working out, but if it does, good on you.

True, that could be a stretch. Any RB's you see having a great 2nd half?

I was about to say target Miller but then I realized you had him...I would say consider not trading for a RB. I would wait and see what happens with the Michael situation in Dallas. If he becomes their starter for the remainder of the year this trade would be unnecessary.

I would try for Lacy. He was nothing special up until around this time last year... then he took off. I was able to buy him low last year and it helped with championship.

Lacy starts playing better when it starts getting colder (especially in Green Bay) so he would be my main target.

Another option of a buy low might be Miller, but after his great week last week, it might not be feasible now.
