Drop Niemi for Smith?

Hanzal and boedker are healthy

Domi and Duclair are future stars

Doan is still alive

OEL is one of the best defenseman in the game

Mike Smith has clearly regained his form after the WC

Niemi for me as well, I think it's just a hot start for Smith and a move you'll regret in a month if not sooner.

Zona has a bright future for sure but I don't think that time has come yet.

Recipe for Freak-Out:
1. Mix one dose of early season with
2. One cup of Main goalie gets shelled (Niemi v COL)
3. #2 goalie gets start and wins (Lehtonen v EDM)

Dallas has four straight road games (@TB, @FLA, @PHI, @PIT)... it's probably a decent time to sit the DAL goalies for that stretch.
But they'll be back home for four after (FLA, ANA, VAN, SJ)... and I think they'll start to play well there.

Arizona might look good for 3 more games (MIN, BOS, @NJ) - and then the Smith hype will be out-of-control.
Then they'll go to NYR, to OTT, to TOR, to BOS, v VAN... and in November the real hard part of the schedule will start.

Arizona gave up 41 shots to LA... they gave up 37 shots to ANA.
(Mind you, when teams are protecting big leads they often do give up a lot of shots)... but the 'Yotes just aren't for real.
And "listing player names" is never a good way to justify that a team is for real.

The wheels may not fall of the Yotes for another 3 games... but they will fall off.
This IS the worst team in the West.
