Dobber has him #20 on the Top 100 Keeper League Goalies list, IIRC. Ahead of several really good players. Is this insanity or genius? Does anyone know why he has him ranked so high? I am going to snag him with the last pick in my draft, and I am wondering what the justification is for Dobber to go out on a limb for this player who isnt considered to be #1 on his team by many.

CGY is a very good defensive team and with the young guns now has some scoring punch as well...Hiller is expensive and on the decline and Ortio & Gillies may not be quite ready to grab the reins full time yet. Enter Mr. Ramo who is a capable goalie who, while unspectacular, is solid between the posts.

If it means anything, they've chosen him as the starter for opening night. Looks like a race to the finish between him and Hiller.

I would only target the CLG goalies in my draft if they were your third option....first off the bench

Yes, in my dynasty I needed a bench option and its the last pick of the draft; that's not a spot where you expect to get the #20-ranked Keeper league G. So lets hope that Dobber is on to something.

I agree with Dobber's ranking of Ramo actually.. The Flames are a really good team and Ramo is the starting goalie on that really good team..
