I would recommend Nilsson or O'Connor.
I heard that Nilsson challenged for the backup spot in Edmonton this year.
I feel that Anderson injury history will open the door for O'Connor in the 3-4 range.
I am in my prospect draft and am looking to add another goalie to join Matt Murray on my farm.
Here are the players I am looking at:
A Forsberg CBJ
J Campbell DAL
M O'Connor OTT
S. Williams NYI
A Nilsson EDM
J Saros NSH
Would like to get some quick answers on who I should select based on long-term upside and chances of making a mark in the next 3-4 years. Rep given for speedy analysis. Thanks all!

Thanks PH! Rep given. Anyone else in the know on these guys? My pick is almost here...
I'd go with O'Connor here. He's the future tendy in Ottawa.

Just know goalies are voodoo! Long term:
1. A Forsberg CBJ (I just like him the most)
2. J Saros NSH (NSH + goalies + finn)
3. M O'Connor OTT (I think he has the best opportunity but is he for real?) - I'd risk him tell you the truth, but I like my ranking of what I think long-term too
4. S. Williams NYI (need a season)
5. A Nilsson EDM (don't see him as a starter long-term)
6. J Campbell DAL (I am so close to giving up)

I can't list my 2nd main keeper as there are too many players, but it is a keep all H2H points-only league
Nilsson for me as well, he looks like the back-up and could fight for starts

I like to base prospect goalies on how close they are to an NHL net. Nilsson would be my pick based on that.

Thanks all for your input. Taking Nilsson and putting O'Connor at the top of my wish list if a farm spot opens up. Great stuff from you guys, Rep given!

I prefer O'Connor on that list long-term.
And to answer Rodgorts question in reference to O'Connor being for real, they are all prospect goalies. Are any of them for real???? Right now, the closest thing to being for real is Nilsson because he's a legit NHL goalie today and technically, O'Connor is for real today as well, as he is up in Ottawa as Anderson's backup while we wait for the Hamburgler's groin to heal.

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
I drafted Anders Nilsson this year. I recently included him in a trade when the other guy asked for him in a deal to get Martin Jones. So, I have a farm spot open and its time once again to select another prospect G. Seemed like Matt O'Connor was the 2nd choice of a lot of you guys a few weeks ago when this post was up. He got a start and from all reports did not look out of place in an NHL net. With Anderson's injury history the Ottawa goal could be in flux at any time. I feel like O'Connor would be a good add for me at this time, has anything changed to downgrade him or upgrade one of the other prospects we discussed?
I'd prefer O'Conner. I think in a few years he will be able to take the starting job from Anderson and I don't see Hammond as much of a threat.
