Always depends on where your opponent is at.
2.00GAA and .930% are both pretty good but only if your opponent isn't close to that.
Not sure how to word this question so that it makes sense but I'll try. But first some context. I've joined a new league and their goalie stats are Wins, GAA and SV% with a minimum of 3 goalie starts a week. Now I'm new to GAA and SV% and that brings me to my question for the great stats guys on here.
If you've reached your minimum starts for the week, what would your GAA and SV% need to be at for you to consider benching your goalies for the rest of the week? Seem like if your GAA was 2.00 or better and SV% was around .930 or better you'd have a really good chance at locking up those 2 stats to make the risk of losing the Wins category worth it. Not sure if anyone has crunched the numbers already to see what the ideal threshold would be.

If you get your 3 in prior to game times on Saturday and you’re beating your opponent by a large amount. That’s my rule for myself…Unless I posted 2-3Shutouts, then I will sit my goalies whenever that comes up.
So when Saturday games role around, and I’m sitting at 2.00 and 0.930, and I’m beating the guy by a lot, with dicey matchups for my goalies that weekend, that’s when I sit them. But if I had Lundqvist playing Phoenix, I’d start him no matter what, winning or not. I’m the kinda guy that will run up the points difference no matter what. If he has 3 wins and I won with 4, that’s cool, but I rather win by 6. Just as an intimidation factor moving forward.

A lot depends on form, matchup, and what your numbers are compared to your opponent.
