I think I would move Rask up to tier 1B. He was the consensus #1 fantasy goalie coming into last season. Even in a "down year" he had a 2.30 GAA and a .922 save percentage. I know Boston is no longer a powerhouse but he will probably start close to 70 games again too so it will be hard for him to not get 35 wins

Just a thought - this thread should be stickied.

Personally, I think Freddy Andersen should be up in tier IIa.

What clearly separates these 2 goalies?
    Goalie A: 91 GP, 41 Wins, 2.40 GAA, 2312 S, 0.919 SV%
    Goalie B; 82 GO, 55 Wins, 2.35 GAA, 2036 S, 0.918 SV%
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I would move Anderson and varlamov up a tier. And Andersen up a tier maybe.

Statistically speaking, the top 3 goalies last year were 1. Price, 2. Holtby, and 3. MAF

Given the caps and pens improvements over this offseason, I find it hard to justify lowering them below that. I would definitely have MAF in 1b.

So Holtby up one spot and MAF up 4 spots IMHO

I usually play W, GAA, SV%, SO, and maybe because of that my perception of value differs a little form how this is structured, but this was still a very good read for me. Thanks for posting.

I'm torn. Do I keep Crawford and Andersen or trade one for Bobrovsky?

Great to have the most off night games but conflicts don't really matter much when I have 2G and start 2G....

Martin Jones seems awfully low, Tier 3C really? Id have him in Tier 2A or 2B given the year he had.

Andersen is a bit high, i dont see the Leafs racking up the wins with low GAA.

I'm not really a fan of taking goalies early, I find there's the most potential value in finding that goalie who goes late but provides top tier numbers. Obviously easier said than done being able to predict that, but who do you guys have your eyes on as sleepers among goalies.

Nobody seems to want Fleury, understandably so after Murray's run to the cup, but with his injury could it open the door for Fleury to take the crease back? I mean we've seen with Ward, one cup run can be a bit of a fluke.

Dobber had a nice write up on Talbot and mentioned how his numbers in 2nd half were among the best in the league. Edmonton traded Hall for Larsson to sure up their defense. Maybe he will be somebody that can put up top 10 numbers but you can grab fairly late. Dubnyk put up solid numbers 2 years in a row and is often overlooked. Halak seems healthy this year and looked good in the World Cup. I guess those are a few guys that could be undervalued on draft day
