Vatanen has some experience in the NHL. Pouliot has none. The general rule of thumb is to choose the guy who has been there.

Vatanen. Not even close IMO.
Vatanen is going to QB than Anaheim PP this year. Pouliot has some great upside but he needs to battle with Letang and Maatta for PP time. Aside from that, in the very limited action I've seen Pouliot in the NHL he hasn't really impressed.
easily Vatanen. We don't know when Pouliot will emerge - 1 year or 4? Vatanen is already there and I think they both have similar upsides anyways.

Pouliot has the higher long-term ceiling, but Vatanen is no slouch either. I have Sami approaching 50 points this year. Pouliot? closer to 30.
